About Us

WIBC was formed in March 2010 to support, promote and educate about cycling on beautiful Whidbey Island, and surrounding areas of the Puget Sound.  WIBC is made up of riders with all levels of experience.WIBC goals include more riding, bringing cyclists together to ride and plan rides, advocating for safe cycling routes, developing community cycling events, mountain bike trail stewardship, and supporting community activities that involve cycling. 

WIBC is about road and trail riding, touring, training, racing, long haul and out of town riding, commuting and leisure riding.  

WIBC members are made up of singles, couples and families 

For those who like challenge riding, many of our members are distance riders with experience on extreme rides in and around the Pacific Northwest.

Thursday is a Mountain Bike Ride meet at SR-20 and Mainline gate Kettles and Ft Ebey trails. (Must be a WIBC member or 1st time rider with the club)

Saturday is a Road Ride, meet at Honey Moon Bay Coffee in Oak Harbor.  "A" Group 42 miles with 18+ MPH average, "B" Group 35 miles 14-16 MPH average. (Must be a WIBC member or 1st time rider with the club)
